Today, I feel called to share a deeply moving story, with permission from my incredible sister-in-law and our Breathe mE Coach, Nanda Semenyuk. It’s a story of faith, surrender, and the miraculous power of prayer.

A Holiday Unexpected

Our Thanksgiving holiday was a special one, as our entire family gathered at our beach home. On our very first family walk to the beach—with five joyful dogs in tow—my brother’s dog, JoJo, exuberantly leapt and accidentally hit Nanda on the nose.

In an instant, she began bleeding from an open cut, with visible swelling, a protrusion, and searing pain. Alarmed, my brother quickly drove her to the nearest ER, which was an hour and a half away.

As they drove, I felt the familiar echo of a gentle, divine reminder:
“You have not… because you ask not.”

This moment became an opportunity to lean into the power of prayer, a practice I’ve come to deeply understand through three transformative steps.

3 Steps to a Powerful Prayer

1. Desire with Detachment
Strive for what you desire, but release attachment to the outcome. Trust that God’s plan is always greater than your own, even if it’s not immediately clear.

2. Surrender to Divine Will
Align your heart fully with God’s will, knowing it’s the better path—even when it challenges your understanding.

3. Pray Vocally
Speak your prayers aloud. This act aligns your words with divine intentions, transforming them into a co-creative process rather than a simple request.

The Prayer of Trust

Before I could pray for Nanda, I paused for a quantum healing shift. I released my attachment to the “best” outcome as I saw it and surrendered to God’s infinite wisdom. Then, I prayed out loud, asking for angelic intervention:

• For her nose to be set and the break to be healed

• For the swelling to subside

• For a powerful, instantaneous healing

Finally, I allowed myself to witness the miracle as it unfolded.

By the time Nanda arrived at the ER, the swelling had significantly diminished, the protrusion had vanished, and the X-ray revealed only a possible fracture with no break.

Nanda had taken before-and-after pictures, capturing undeniable evidence of the healing miracle. Among these photos, one stood out, titled Touch of Faith.

Quantum Shift

Place your hand on your heart and affirm:
"I seek, surrender, and pray divine will into my life. I am amazed at the miracles that follow. I trust. I believe. I am mE."
