One moment I will never forget: hugging her at the airport before my first trip to the U.S., over 30 years ago now. She smiled, but I felt her heartbeat pounding—a silent language of love and concern that radiated through my body. It was the first time I truly felt her fear... and her faith.

And now, as a mother myself, I’ve felt that same pulse through the miracle of raising my two incredible kids. Just a day before Mother’s Day, I celebrated my daughter Lydia’s doctorate hooding. What a journey. What a gift. What a quantum legacy of love.
