Have you ever felt the delicate nudge of your soul, whispering for you to rise above your convenience and into your truth? This past week, life gave me the perfect opportunity to lean into this lesson, and I invite you to do the same.
First, let me take a moment to thank you. If you held my family in your thoughts and prayers during Randy’s surgery, your love and light were felt deeply. What a week it’s been—a whirlwind of emotions, from hospital nights to moments of reflection, wrapped in love.
In the midst of it all, I experienced the honor of contributing to Lisa Nichols’ Broadway show, When My Soul Speaks, as one of the Producers. Watching her powerful message come to life was breathtaking.
One line from the show etched itself into my heart:
“Do not sacrifice your conviction for your convenience.”
These words have stayed with me, gently stirring my awareness of how easily we trade our deeper truths for fleeting comfort.
The week unfolded with layers of lessons, from the beauty of Lisa’s words to the challenges of Randy’s knee surgery recovery. At one point, an unexpected complication kept us at the hospital overnight. Yet, in the face of every inconvenience, Randy’s conviction shone through. His soul spoke, and it carried him with grace and determination.
This got me thinking about the duality of conviction. On one hand, it’s our steadfast commitment to truth—a guide to manifesting our dreams. On the other, it can trap us in guilt and limitation, much like a verdict that declares, “You’re not enough.”
So, here’s the question I’ve been asking myself, and now I ask you:
Are your convictions empowering your dreams, or are they chaining you to convenience and fear?
Let’s realign with our dreams right now. Place your hand on your heart, take a deep breath, and affirm:
“I let go of my addiction to convenience and step fully into thriving through my conviction. I hear my soul speak. I am free to live my dreams. I am mE.”
Take a moment to feel that.
Now, reflect. What’s one small fear of inconvenience holding you back? Is it a conversation you’ve avoided? A task that looms over you with guilt? Whatever it is, today is the day to step into your conviction. Your soul has a gift for you.
Because you, my friend, are a gift. And the world is waiting for the gifts you’re here to offer.
If you’re ready to embrace your truth, join us this Thursday, December 19th, at 11 AM EST for a powerful free session with Paula Heinonen, our CFO and Director of Prosper mE. Together, we’ll explore how to live a life that’s a gift to yourself and those around you.
